The teachers decided to start the new year with this healthy fruit salad recipe with flavoured yoghurt. The kids had a good time tasting the fruits like red apples, green apples, papayas, mangoes, oranges and grapes. The variety of fruits were sweet and sour to tickle their taste buds and make them receptive to the different flavours.

There were some parents that told our teachers that the children despised the idea of eating fruits. After this lesson all of them were enjoying the fruit salad and hopefully this had changed their perception. Thumbs up to the kids and teachers!

Smart Reader Kids Marathon Graduation (Palace of the Golden Horses)

The kids collected a couple of awards from Smart Reader Worldwide during our Marathon Graduation in the Palace of the Golden Horses. The categories in which they won the awards were the English Wizard, Bahasa Malaysia Wizard and Maths Wizard. Congratulations to all the winners. Keep up your hard work and continue striving.

Annual Concert and Graduation at the Securities Commision

It that time of the year again when our children showcase their talents at our annual Concert and Graduation. The kids spent a couple of gruelling months training for their performances. It was extremely satisfying seeing them perform in front of all the parents. I was amazed that none of the kids were frightened or intimidated to perform in front as such a large crowd. The finale was the graduation ceremony where all the 6 year old were presented with their graduation scrolls. Good luck and all the best to you my kids. I will surely miss your smiles and please remember to make us all proud with your future accomplishments.

Fun at Sunway Wildlife Zoo

Sunway Wildlife Interactive Zoo gives visitors the rare opportunity to get up close and personal with over 160 species of animals in a safe and unhampered environment." See, touch and learn. This is the mantra at this place. There was Snowy, the sweet albino macaque who is as gentle as a lamb. There was also Suzie, the hefty 108kg Burmese Phyton whose favourite pastime is recoiling in her space watching visitors come and go with her beady eyes. It was a priceless experience for all the kids.

We are the Champions

The kids trained very hard for our annual sports and look at the happy winner. This is Brandon. He has been at my centre since he was 4 years old. He reads very well in Bahasa Malaysia, English and Mandarin. He completed the Tahap 6 Smart Bacaan, Level 6 Smart Reader English and Level 4 Smart Mandarin. He will be going to a Mandarin medium school next year. He is very intelligent and an all rounder in our pre-school. His parents have continued to support our school through thick and thin. We are very blessed to have him as part of our family. These children are our champions. They compete to win, to be the best from the rest. They are the pride of our school.
